Isaiah 61

Jesus Christ speaks:

1The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted,to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,3and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness,a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.4They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated;they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.5Strangers will shepherd your flocks;foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.6And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God.You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.7Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.8“For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrong-doing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.9Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”10I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.11For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow,so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.

The church of God and our worship

Let us first put on Christ and worhip Him in His Temple!Let us be His church!

My dearest brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ!
Today is sunday and probably most of us have already been to church, others are probably rushing to go to church and others probalby are still struggling whether to go or not to go. And to do what? To pray and worship God! But is it really so?
If there should be an earthquake and all the churches or let me better call them houses of gatherings should be destroyed instantly, would this mean that we would all stop praying and worshiping God?
By no means. So what is this all about?

For me worship, prayer and everything else is all about Jesus Christ, who is God Himself.
But is Jesus found in a house or room or a building, whatsoever?
If it be so, why then , does the Word, of God, which is Jesus Himself say that: " Our bodies are the Temple of God " and also that "  the true worshippers should worship Him in  Truth and in Spirit "?
God wants us to worship Him in His Truth and in His Spirit, which is both found in Jesus Christ and is Jesus Christ Himself !
So if we are the church of Jesus Christ, Who is of God and Who Himself is God, why then do we go to "church" instead of being His church in the first place?

We should rather Focus on being  and belonging to the church of God instead of belonging to whatsoever denominations and churches of this world, since there is only one church of God, which is in Jesus Christ. Each and veryone of us, Who is having Jesus Christ as His centre and foundation is  and belongs to the church of the Jesus Christ of God, which is the same as the church of  the Salvation, the Healing, Word, of God, etc. because, Jesus Christ in the salvation, the healing, The Restorer, the grace, the holiness, the goodness, the love, joy, peace, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, faithfaithfulness, justice, etc.-infact He is everything of God, because He is God. He is Immanuel, that is He is God with us  and in us.

One might say  that, it is written that "where two or more people are gathered in His Name , there  He is among them".For sure it is written. Jesus said: "In His Name",  not "calling on His Name". "In His Name" means "In Jesus".Are we all in Jesus? Or are we all just calling on His Name? And mostly in vain since we are not all in Jesus and living in the flesh, because we live the way we want to live and  not the way God wants us to live in and through Jesus, the Christ and the Holy Spirit of God?

How Long do we take tp prepare ourselves outwardly for church, Standing in front of the mirror not knowing what to wear? Which shoes, which clothes, which make-up, which perfume, etc......? And how long do we really take to Focus on Him, and ask ourselves which attitude of Jesus Christ we should wear or put on today, for example, mercy love, honesty, peace, joy, obedience, endurance, gentleness, faithfulness, selfcontrol, justice, humility, etc?

And infact, this is how we should dress and the attitude we should put on everyday, not only on sundays. We should put on  and demonstrate our Jesus Christ everyday and show it to the world. If we are clothed with Jesus Christ, then we are truly in Him  and in His Spirit and we can worship Him as He requires of us.And if we then gather, we shall see and feel the difference. It will then be the true gathering of the saints, His saints that He talks about, when He says " Do not forsake the gathering of the saints."

One might say we are all sinners. Yes,we are. But Jesus tells us that in Him we are purified, justifed and sanctified  and made perfect in Him, that is as long as we abide in Him completly, and in Him alone. Then He will also abide in us and sin shall have no more hold on us or victory over us,since "He that is then in us is greater than He that is in the world", that is Jesus Christ our Lord and God.

God is good and God is goodness He says there is nothing good in us, except for the goodness that He Himself puts and plants in us.He gives us His goodness by giving us His Jesus Christ, His Image and His Holy Spirit,  to demostrate all of His attitudes and qualities to us so that we might live and become like Jesus, His own Image and His Holy Spirit, because He created us in His own Image.

God is the Holy Spirit and everything about Him is holy and spiritual, so when He talks of His Image, he does not mean we look physically like Him, because He is neither black nor white. But our spirits and souls are meant, to be conformed to His Image, which comes through the work of sanctification through Jesus Christ and becomes visible outwardly, just as God Himself through Jesus Christ has become visible to us to make us realise and understand that it is possible to live and  fulfill all that He requires of us through His Holy Spirit, through Jesus Christ. That means if we have Jesus, we have everything of and from God (not material things but the things of His Holy Spirit in His Kingdom).

Glory be to God for giving His Kingdom and everything else through Jesus Christ, Lord of Lord and King of Kings.Amen!
